We are looking for descendants of Robert Andrew Jameson, b 9 Sept 1856 at Grimister, Yell, Shetland Islands, Scotland.
He was the child of Robert Jam(i)eson and Janet Margaret Ingram Thomason. The family moved to Sunderland, England about 1860 and used the spelling Jameson. Robert Andrew went by the name Andrew. He married and had 22 !!!!! children. We know the family kept in touch with the US family until about 1920. I am married to the grandson of Thomas Jameson, Robert Andrew's next younger brother. There have to be hundreds of descendants by now!
