My great Grandfather, Thomas Jones, was born in Wednesbury, Staffordshire c 1845. His father was Thomas Jones. His mother was Mary Jones. I need to know his mother's maiden name, because without this I cannot go back any farther. Nunerous Thomas Joneses married numerous Marys! Also, his father's occupation would help! I have his entry in the British Census of 1881, listing his wife, Ann Maria(nee Rutter) and his children, including John Jones, my paternal grandfather, then aged 4 years, all living in Birmingham. However, I need to to know more about his parents.
