Trying to locate the PLOUGHMAN family (or descendents of) who lived at 353 Portswood Road, Southampton until house destroyed by bombing in World War 2.
James PLOUGHMAN married Mary METCALF 1846. One son, James Alfred PLOUGHMAN killed in action 1916 whilst serving with the Canadian Infantry. Believe they had at least one other child - possibly a teacher in Southampton in the 1930's.
