BYRNE, John. Looking for information/family. John is my mothers father. His family emmigrted to Liverpool from Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland sometime before WWI. My grandfather served in the Royal Navy in WWI. Around 1920, he married Mary Carroll in the US and they had five children. He died around 1930 in New York. My mother once ran into a Byrne from Chicago whose family was also from Liverpool.
