We do know of a Janet Cowee, who was burned at the stake for being a witch, but hear we hit a wall too. We have a coat of arms for Cowee, but were wondering if, as we have been led to believe, that the name was mispelled in the middle ages.
I would appreciate any help from anyone in the UK reagrding this unusual name, however small the contribution may be, it will be very welcome.
