I am looking for the surname OPPENHEIM. Henry & Caroline(neeHanley)OPPENHEIM lived in Dalston & Hackney in the 1874-1879approx. They had 2 sons Herbert OPPENHEIM born 1874 and my husbands grandfather Henry Lavell OPPENHEIM born 05 Oct. 1879.In 1881 the family was living at 35 Treherne Road at the Foxley Tavern.
Can anyone enlighten my as to the origin of the name Lavell?
