Hill and Bamber families - near Sheffield. Researching my gr. grandfather Anthony James Hill born Holmesfield, Dronfield,Derbys, UK April 1852 or 1853. Father was Frederick William Hill and mother was Sarah. A. J Hill married Martha Bamber 30 Sept. 1874 in Edensor, Derbys. She died a few years later and A. J. emigrated to the U. S. in about 1881. He was a publican in the UK.
