Maureen FRASER - all we know of my grandmother is that she was a domestic servant at a Temperance Hotel in London when she gave birth to my mother, Margaret Jean FRASER in the Sheffield St Hospital in March 1932. My mother was 17 before she was told that she was fostered by her 'parents'. She was then told that Maureen was to come back for her but died of TB about 18 months after Margaret was born - have been unable to find a death cert. Maureen was supposed to have been a Scot - have been unable to find a birth cert. There is no father listed. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, :o)
