HEWETT: seeking descendants of Charles and mabel Hewett, their son Charles and his wife and two children (1b, 1g) who emigrated to Lower Hutt, New Zealand, in the 1950's but returned to the UK in the 1960's (?). Believed to have come from the region of Southend on Sea where he had a deckchair concession on the beach? The Hewett family was originally from Limehouse and Poplar, East End, from the 1850's onwards, but little further known. Les Hewett, Napier, New Zealand. Ph. 0064 6 8435709.
