I am looking for my Wallis family history in England, most likley in London. Family stories indicate that they came sometime in 1840-1850 to Toronto Ontario. An ancestor was to reported to be the first postmaster on the Ile of Dogs. Also I think that the name of the person was Willian wallis who left the UK.WE are unsure as to when ,why or how. . In addition a relative was borne on the victory day of Waterloo, He was named Arthur ,as have all frist borne males since including me and my son .b 1947 /b.1981. I would like to know were to go from here? thanks William A. Wallis
