I think I had traced my family back to England in the 1300's and maybe further back to 1154. The modern day spelling of the name I am looking for is Chidester. I believe they came from Chichester England. I have found documents where the spelling has changed over the yrs many times. Including Chichester. Can anyone tell me how to take this back further, I am at a loss now.
I do know there are many Chidesters in WVa now.
I do have some names of the early Chichesters.
Any info at all may be of a huge help. Thanxx In Advance !
