Help from BIRMINGHAM UK please!
Would anyone have any information on Robert Burrows, a PORK BUTCHER, who had 2 shops in the Aston, Small Heath area of Birmingham....the shops may both have been on the Coventry Road. Robert was listed in the 1881 Census as a pork butcher, so may have had his shop(s) at that time. I'm sure he had them at the turn of the century. I tried the Birmingham & District Butchers Association, but they tell me they have no old records. I am planning to visit Birmingham next Fall and hope to be able to walk the areas where my ancestors lived and worked.
