I am the daughter of Gwendoline Pearl Sullivan, nee HERBERT. She was originally from Sudgrove near Misserden, Gloucestershire, and I am trying to trace any details of my family tree and ultimately any living relatives I may have. My mother was one of 12 children born to Edward William Herbert and Florence Fanny Herbert. Of the other children, I know there was an Ambrose William( known as Bill)(B.1903 D.1951), George, Arch, John Edward, Blanche, Edna and Maude. I know that Ambose was killed in a motorcycle accident and had a son caled Gordon who at one time was in the RAF. I know that Arch was in the RAF during the second World War and George was a 'Desert Rat' in WWII and was rescued from Dunkirk and served in the Burma Campaign.
If anyone could help me with any details of any of these people, please contact me on the email address above. Any scraps of information would be gratefully recieved, as I have come to a halt on many lines of enquiry. If anyone can suggest anywhere I could continue research, especially with the Armed Forces link, again I would be very grateful.
