I am seeking information on my English Family from the Leigh/Malvern/Worcester areas.My grandmother, Edith Madge Geering was brought to Canada by her father, Frank Geering, following her mother's, Sarah Emily Madge md. Geering, early death in 1903. I have good reason to believe that her death was from an inherited kidney disease which has taken many, many family members in the USA. It is Polycystic kidney Disease [PKD]. My grandmother, her brother, Maurice Geering, and six of their eight children died of PKD. It is my medical belief from death certificates that the PKD has gone back in our family with these names:
Edith Madge Geering Md. Earl Jull-my grandmother
Sarah Emily Madge Md. Frank George Geering in 1893-my Great
grandmother
Emily Morgan Md. James Madge in 1864-my g.g. grandmother
Ann Haywood Md.William Morgan in 1827-my g.g.g.grandmother
These marriages all ocurried in Leigh near Worcester.
I believe William Morgan's parents were another William Morgan and his wife Hannah Pitt. They married on May 8, 1800. Unfortunately, I do not have a present day contact with any of these families. I would be forever greatful for an assistance in finding a family member.
