I need some help with the disappearence of my Grandfather.His name was Fredick Allington- Clarke (spelling may have only one L). He served in India with the Kings Riffles, then was commisioned and transfered to the 9 Durgas Indian Army. He married grandmother Ursula Hyde-Barker, they had four children Doreen,Rita, Eileen (my mother) born in Karachi 24/9/18. Eileen married Sydney William Cave at Fort Stanley in 1937 or 1938. My Mother died in childbirth in Gibralta in 4th Dec 1953. My G-father abandoned his family when his wife was two months pregnant with her last child. He left his family in India to fend for themselves and returned to UK. Nobody in the family is aware of where he went, why he left, when he died and where he is buried, I would very much like to solve this mystery and visit my G-fathers grave when I visit UK next year
