I am doing genealogy for the first, am looking for John
Driscoll married Susanna. Could have married in England or
in Sound Island area. I am not sure if John Driscoll came
from Cork Ireland area before 1815 or not. Some suggest they
came through Poole, Eng to Nfld. Arrived in the Sound Island, Nfld area. John Driscoll was one of the first
to settle in Nfld, as I am told?. They had a son, John b. Dec 8,1815 in Lower Island Cove, Nfld,who married Elizabeth Champion in Nfld, July 21, 1840 and their
child was John Driscoll, born Oct. 18,1844 in Island Cove, Nfld married Selena ?. One of John & Selena's children was, My grandfather, Caleb Driscoll,born 1875, Sound Island, Nf.married Regina Payne of Fogo, Nfld. That is as much as
I know about the ancestry. It would be interesting to find
our more about my ancestors, especially where they did come
from, dates and how they travelled. Any help is greatly
