Good morning
My grandfather on my dad's side was William Jones, hardly an uncommon
name I have discovered. All I know is that he was born in England
(maybe Wales) in 1856. Came to Canada and was married to Eunice Jane
Roach. Suspect was married in Canada since her father was a Methodist
minister around Bowmanville, Ontario. She died at 38 in 1902 and he was
remarried to Ida Lucinda Way in 1904. He died in 1926 and she died in
1945. My dad, William Lewis Jones, was born in Tweed Ontario in 1906.
Grandfather's parents may have been from Canada and he was born
overseas. Grandfather and both wives very active in the Salvation
Army.
Can anybody be of assistance.
