I am looking for my wife's grandparents and great grand parents
1.Grandmother--Ada Rowe born between 1884-1890 I of Man married in Perth Wa 13.03.1917 died Perth 07.12.1960--records show she was 76 and her marriage age was 27.Unfortuneatly these dates will not tie in.Her father was Fredrick Rowe,Died in Adelaide South Aust 1910-1913? the same day he buried his wife Bessie(Nee Jones), both born I of Man.He was a ships captain and I believe he went to India 1890? for 10 yrs and then to Adelaide.Bessie had a sister Bertha? and the story goes she was a nanny to QE 2 when the Queen was a child????for 2 yrs.Could or may be a story.
Ada was a nurse at Royal Perth Hospital and left to get married 13.03.17 to John Galland Howarth who was b in Manchester and died in Perth WA 20.12.1944.
