attention New Zealand surfers!i am researching my family
history and am particularly in any info on Rose Philipps
daughter of capt Griffith Philipps RN.she married a man
called Drewitt and they emigrated to NZ in the late 1800's
and had 12 sons and one daughter so i must have some distant
relatives on north or south island!
Rose was the sister of my grandfather,Herbert Grismond
Philipps,and she had 2 other sisters and 4 brothers of whom
there is no continuation of the line due death or remaining
unmarried.
any news on possible relatives will be very welcome.
