My great grandparents were William Knight and Agnes Steed and they were married on March 27 1854 at St Pinnock, Cornwall. They emigrated to Australia and their son, my grandfather, Robert Leonard Knight crossed the Tasman sea to New Zealand. I am one of a group of their descendants seeking to extend our family tree by actively seeking any details of either the Knight family or the Steed family in England.
