I searching for my ancestors - my birth name was Hooley but I have since found that was only changed 2generations ago - it was originally Wholey - I have managed to get back to my GG Granfather and now my search takes me to Southern Ireland- the next generaton I am starting to search for begins with Daniel Wholey born in Ireland he had at least one son Michael my GG Grandfather can anyone help with information about the Wholey Name in Ireland - I do know that the family were Roman Catholics - any help Please thanx
