BRIDGEWATER/FARR...I am looking for my Grandmother Mavis Bridgewater(maiden name FARR)on my Dads side, his name is Peter Bridgewater. She walked out on him as well as his 2 brothers,her sons(Phil, John)when he was about 3 years old,about 1959/60's
She was pregnant (apparently with a girl?) and left my Grandfather, William 'Bill' Bridgewater. She went to the states (or so I'm told) with a shoesalesman. I am desperatley seeking a link to anyone with the last name Farr. They were living in Warwick England, or at least that is where my Father was born. I am not certain if Mavis would have changed her last name if she did not legally divorce William, as he did not hear from her after early 60's. If anyone has any info on either Bridgewater name or Farr, please get back to me.
My father also had a child in the early 70's (before me born 79)It was about 1975, he did not remain in contact with he/she, in fact he immigrated to Canada with my mum Sharon Bridgewater (maiden name Tuson)in the early 80's He was not able to come here without an arrangement for child support payments to be made, which my mother set up for him through the Royal Bank of Canada. Unfortunatley I do not know the names of either the half brother or sister I have somewhere? or the birth mothers name? Please contact me with any helpful hints, Thank You
