I am searching for birth or baptismal record of my grandmother, Elizabeth Copeland, dau. of Jane Ann. She was born poss. Heworth, Durham Co c. 1884-87 and was Church of England. Admitted to Sunderland Workhouse 1894 by Isabella McCullach, closest relative. 1881 Co.Durham CN has John Davison Copeland and Isabella (Robinson) Copeland parents of Jane. Does Heworth have CE Church I can write to? (I have checked Aycliffe, sans results.) Thanks!
