I am searching for information on my husband's grandparents. His grandfather ISAAC PRIESTLEY,b. Halifax, Yorkshire England Feb. 16, 1875. He was the son of ALFRED PRIESTLEY, a farmer, and HANNAH BRIGGS.Am not sure how many siblings he had but know of at least 1 sister.
My husband's grandmother, EDITH DENTON, was born in Nov. 1874 in I believe, Stainland. She was the daughter of MILES STOTT DENTON and CAROLINE??She was the youngest of 14 children, 7 boys and 7 girls. We believe her father had a liverly stable. EDITH DENTON and ISAAC PRIESTLEY married and emigrated to Winnipeg Manitoba Canada sometime in the early 1900's. They had 3 children, all born in Canada. Isaac took his family to the U S in about 1927. They settled in Illinois where they remained until their deaths, ISAAC in 1937 and EDITH in 1963. Isaac was a stone cutter and had a stone yard in Illinois. I have had no luck searching this family so any help would be appreciated. Following are the names of some of EDITH"S sibblings,
