PHILLIPS, SANDIFORD, WISE & HICKMAN FAMILIES:
Looking for descendants of John & Sarah Phillips of Mile End in the mid-late 1800s. He was a chairmaker. Children included John Thomas, Emma, Mary Elizabeth, Frances & grandaughter Lillian Phillips. Also looking for descendants of James & William Sandiford, sons of William (Spencer) & Catherine Sandiford, born in mid-1800s in Barking, Essex but living in Wapping in 1881.
Also interested in links with Frederick Wise, who lived with his son Alfred and daughter Elizabeth in Bethnal Green in 1881. Alfred married my grandmother, Victoria Hickman, whose father George, a tailor, had 19 children by two wives. He lived in Colchester, possibly Kent, Islington and West Ham. Any links welcomed.
