I am carrying out a one name study of the Toogood Family. My father Roland is born in 1919, Accrington, Lancashire. His father Herbert Joseph was born in Harrogate 1880. Then there was George Ridley
b 1846 in Stockton, son of Francis Toogood born in Hull 1820/21. It starts with Thomas married in 1796 to Mary Simpson in Scarborough, I believe he was a soldier in the Nepolionic Wars.
Please has anyone got any further clues or advice on Toogood family links in Hull/East Riding, North east.
