I am looking for The Morden Family, George Morden to begin with, B; C1705 in Yorkshire. His Father, James came from St. James Colchester, Essex as far as I know to this time. He was born c1680/85. George, with brothers, Ralph, Joseph, James, Daniel, emigrated to the continental U. S. in 1742. They were Quakers and landed in Philadelphia, and naturally split up after a number of years. There was probably a Moses in there as well. Several members of the family came to Upper Canada after the American Revolution, settling between Eastern Ontario and South-western Ontario between 1785 and 1793. Ralph, according to story was hung by the yanks for aiding and abetting the escape of Robert Land, although I do have doubts as to whether Ralph actually got hung.
