about 1839 my ancestor, Anna Beckett, was born in England, perhaps in Wakefield in Yorkshire. Her father was English and her mother was Irish. Oral history has it that she had been or was going into a Catholic convent but she married, at a very young age, an American man in Butler County, Ohio. I would like any information that might lead me to her history. Thanks.
