we would like to hear from any of the ancestors of william phillips who died in australia in 1869 at the age of 65. he emmigrated to australia with his wife susannah maria nee palmer in 1839 on the barque moffat. we believe they lived at new street, southwark bridge road. his occupation in australia was listed as tinworker, coppersmith, brazier. we have information about descendants all over australia but have no information prior to their arrival in south australia. some of the main surnames are, bentley, ford, harris, pegler, virgin and lots more. heres hoping i hear from you. ta daryl.
