I am looking for information on descendants of John Staples born 1815, Belmont, Salisbury, England. He was Lord Mayor of London, 1886. Also I need information on James Slim 1802-1888, who lived in London Middlesex and was probably a silk weaver by trade.The main interest I have is in the Gillett family from High Ham, Somerset, and Hinton Martel, Dorset, in the 17th 18th and 19th centuries.Any help would be appreciated.
