Looking for Birt relatives from Kent, England. Benjamin Thomas Birt and his second wife Jane left on the ship Assaye on a Vogel immigration scheme journey to New Zealand in 1874. He was listed as a farm labourer. They took his two sons Ernest and Victor from his first marriage with them but we think left a very young daughter behind, possibly named Clementine. Ben Birt's father may have been named Henry, and Jane's maiden name was Baker. Any info, or any idea how to search parish records from NZ. Thanks
