EDWARD COX. It's my understanding he came to the U.S. Colonies as a redcoat, but deserted and joined the American side. I've also heard he changed his surname to Williams and eventually married an Indian. Does anyone know anything about this fellow? Apparently other Cox's journeyed after the A.R. War to Georgia and Alabama.
