Researching BLOXTON surname. They were from England (maybe from Bloxham, Oxfordshire???). Has anyone out there done any genealogy for our family name (some variations are BLOXOM, BLOXHAM, BLOCKSTON)? The earliest ancestor I have information is WILLIAM ASHBY BLOXTON, born about 1808 from Stafford County, Virginia, USA. His father might have been Samuel Bloxton -- I'm working on verifying that right now.
