MORRIS - a very common name, especially John MORRIS !!!
please HELP!! This is my "cradle" name and I have been searching for many, many years. Now a "senior" and getting very frustrated!! Here is what I have so far:
James MORRIS and spouse - Elizabeth ?(unknown maiden name)-
had 3 children; Mary Ann b. 1828, William b. 1833 and John
Samuel MORRIS b. 1836. All 3 children christened (per IGI
RECORDS)-March 1, 1837 at St. Peters, Walworth Surrey England. John Samuel MORRIS - age 30 - bachelor, married
1867 - St. Paul parish, St. Mary Newington Surrey England to- Emily BENNETT age 26 (father's name James BENNET and family rumour is that she had a brother George BENNETT- who was last heard from in 1910 living in Australia).
John and Emily (my paternal great grandparents, emigrated
after marriage , to Toronto Ont.Canada and had 3 children-
John Samuel Jr. , Arthur and (Emily - b. 1880 d.1881).
Can anyone help me with my search???? Greatly appreciate
any help. Thanks in advance.
