I am trying to find out where my ancestor Abraham Mayes was born, was he born in Liverpool, England? His father was also Abraham Mayes and he seems to have travelled abroad between 1807 and 1811 with his family. The family originally came from Suffolk, and returned there after their travels, settling in Bulmer and Sudbury. Can you help?
