I am researching my family name of BROOKS. So far the information I have is that my father's name is WILLIAM BENJAMIN BROOKS. His father was WILLIAM BENJAMIN BROOKS who lived at 1 Wilks Court Hoxton Street Hoxton in Shoreditch and he came to Australia on the Largs Bay in 1922. My great grandfather's name was William Thomas Brooks and he married SARAH JANE WALKER. They lived in 53 Phillip Street HaGGERSTON and he was a chimney sweeper. He was born 2.4.1898. Any information about my family would be very much appreciated.
