Looking for ancestors and/or descendants of RILEY family.
Father: Martin Riley, born c1844 in Ireland
Mother: Mary Ann Collins (also known as "Annie") born c1840 in England
Known Children:
William, born 1868 in England
Mary, born 1870/71 in England
Lizzie (Elisabeth), born 1874/75 in England
* The family MAY have lived in Warwickshire county, England. They were Catholic and were among the Catholics to sign on with Bishop John Ireland (of America) in his quest/work with the I.C.C.O. (Irish Catholic Colonies Organization).
The family came to the US>Minnesota>St. Paul>Nobles County in late 1879 or early 1880. The family is listed in the 1880 census of Nobles County, Minnesota.
Annie died in June of 1880.
Martin died in February of 1884.
It is doubtful if the relatives in England and Ireland knew of the demise of Martin.
Last known info on children:
William, traveled through Nobles County in 1889. No further info.
Mary, was at the Home of the Good Shepherd in St. Paul, MN, March of 1884, notation regarding Mary made in Sept. 1884; last notation: she left. No date.

Trying to find more information on this family.
