Looking for the family of Elizabeth Stocks (Mar 14 1732/33) Otley YKS. Married William Black (1727 Paisley SCT) c. 1758 in Huddersfield YKS. 5 children. Emigrated to NS CAN 1775. Have TWO sets of parents for Elizabeth:
1) Samuel Stocks and Jane Hird m.4 Nov 1723 Otley or
2) Thomas Stocks (20 Oct 1694 - 3 Apr 1757) and Sarah
Butler m. 1731 in Leeds.
These men were brothers.
Can anyone verify the parentage of Elizabeth?
