I was born an Osborne, in Hertford in 1955, my father is Harold Herbert, he married Barbara Jean Newton in 1954. My paternal grandmother was Ivy May Young from Benjoe, Hertford. My paternal grandfather was Herbert George Osborne who was a member of Oddfellows. As far as I know the family has been in the Hertford area for many generations, I have seen copies of wills dating back to the mid 1700's, during the 1800's the family owned pubs in the area. Any one know anything about the family that will help me put a family tree together.
