Looking for decendents of RICHARD HUNTER and MARTHA TUSON, married mid 1800's, Leyland, Lancashire county England. One daughter, Ellen, and Two sons, John and William. RICHARD deserted family and went to America, where he married a woman named Martha Flowers,in Tennessee, and settled in Missouri. There was contact between the two families through the First World War. RICHARD changed his name to TURNER. The family story is that he had left England to avoid serving in the military. We have confirmed names and birthdates in England, but lost track during WW1. HUNTER relatives said to be living in London at that time. Any information on these surnames would be greatly appreciated. With much hope...a distant cousin...
