Looking for anyone with information on the following:
Albert Edward Gainsford and his wife Eliza Jane Scrace Ashdown who came to the USA in December 1903 with their 4 children: Florence, Ellen Elizabeth, Catherine Amelia, Albert Edward. The Gainsford's came from Tunbridge Wells. Also looking for any information on an Alice Kemp who died in 1968 and lived in Ticehurst. Would like to know how she was related to the above children and why they would have gotten a small inheritance. (Ellen Elizabeth was my mother's mother.) Thanks so much.
