Is there anybody out there who has access to the Baptisms registers in Dewsbury/Batley area who could look-up a christening for Marion Whitworth, fathers name Edwin and he was a publican. The only problem with this is I have no idea whom her mother was and she was not registered under the name of Whitworth.
She should be on the 1891 census with her family but I have been unable to find her. I may have missed her so anyone who has access to the census for that area could you please see if you can find her. At present she has been really elusive. I do know that she died here in Barrow-in-Furness and her ashes were taken back to Dewsbury to where I there I do not know. The Coop funeral parlour here the previous owners have destroyed the records from that year.
Any help will be very gratefuly received as at present I am stuck at the starting line.
