LEEDS/RAWDON, George Wells my gt.grandfather who married Jeanise Thomas. He had a son Eric (William) Lawrence Wells, my grandfather, born in 1903, Wharfedale registration district nr Leeds, and lived in Rawdon. He married Ellen Elizabeth Newbould. They left Yorkshire in the 1920s and came over to Australia. He was bur.1952 in Walgett NSW Australia. He had a brother Cyril who stayed behind in Yorkshire and a sister Dorothy. Some other members of this family emigrated from England to the USA. comet5@bigpond.com
Eric Lawrence Wells had two sons: Albert (29 Nov1923 - 17 April 1977) who married Eleanor Lees. Their Children were Michael, Malcolm and Margaret Wells. Margaret married William Dean and had children Tania, Jane and Laura. Tania Dean of Florida is also researching this family. Eric's other son was Harry (b.1925) who married Lorraine Turpin and had sons Martin and Robert
