I am trying to find my great grandfathers'(Thomas Joseph Hayden ),sister and mother,or grandparents on 1891 England census. I have found them in 1881 census in Liverpool. Great grandfather and siblings, Francis and Margaret sent to Canada with Mrs. Margaret Lacy of Catholic Protection Society of Liverpool( who have NO records of them ),May 1883. Family in 1881 census is as follows: Dwelling 50 Circus St. Liverpool, Francis Heyden Married head of house, tailor, age 42, b. Ireland, Ellen Heyden wife, married, age 28, b. Ireland, Frances Heyden, daughter( wrong sex, but could have been mistake of census taker,as well as spelling of Heyden), age 6, b. Ireland, Margaret Heyden age 4 daughter, b. Ireland, Bridget Heyden age 4m. daughter b. Ireland. My great grandfather was with his grandparents,Dwelling 16 Spring Place, Liverpool, Thomas Quirk age 45 head, tailor, married, b. Ireland and Margaret Quirk wife, married, age 45, b. Ireland, Thomas Heyden, grandson, age 8, b. Liverpool, Lancashire. I have tried to find family myself on micro fiche at Latter Day Saints library, but it is impossible to read, and they don't have complete census. I am hoping that somewhere, someone has access to 1891 census as I hope to find Bridget and her mother, or with her grandparents, still in Liverpool. Older children were sent away and Bridget was kept by either mother or grandmother after Francis Hayden Sr. was killed by cousin or nephew in bar room fight in late 1882. Would appreciate any help, but WILL NOT pay anyone for search, so any one offering for a fee need not bother e-mailing me. Thanks to all serious offers. Tami.
