Found this whilst researching family tree. I am trying to trace the family of Alexander McGill and Wife Ellen McGill, nee Whelan. They were married in county of heworth England approx 1871. They had son Alexander (my grandfather) and John, that we know of. Alexander(2) migrated to Australia approx 1910. His address on his D certificate for England was Durham. Hope someone out there can assist. Both Alexanders were shipbuilders.
