Seeking info on my husband's ancestors:
1. James Thompson FUDGE b. 1862 Newton Abbott, Devonshire, d. 1931 New York. Parents: Luke Fudge (b. 1832) and Vertue Thompson COLE. Luke's father: John (1812-1870), all of Bristol(?).
2. Richard BATTISON b. mid1600's - may have been from Guilford, two sons James BATTERSON, Boston clockmaker, and Anthony.
3. Joseph CHURCHILL b. abt. 1621 London, son William b. abt. 1647 London, d. Manhattan NY.
4. Thomas SPICER b. 1592 Barfreston, Kent, d. NY. Son of Nicholas Spicer of Barfreston (1545-1584) and Martha GRANT b. 1560 Eythorne, Kent. Martha was dau. of Henry Grant (abt. 1524-1598, Eythorne) and Alice BRISTOWE (abt. 1528-1605 Eythorne).
5. John POTTER Sr. b. abt. 1550 London, son John went to US, married Hannah ? (1584-1659 Kent). She may have also been married to a Beecher (before or after?)
7. Henry WOOD 1575-1636 Chesham, Buckinghamshire, m. Isabell Elizabeth GOODSPEED of Chesham around 1600.
