My great-grandfather was George Ford Crowden. He came to the US about 1861 with his family, and eventually lived in Buffalo NY.(dates I know of are 1888 to 1900. The story is that after he and my g-grandmother Caroline Boller seperated, he went back to England. I have lost track of him after 1900, and my grandfather didn't know much about him. I have found that he had a brother Frank born about May 1868 in NY. George was born July 1860 in England. His mother's name was Francis. She was born in England May 1835. I do not know his father's name. I believe there is a relation or connection to Samuel and Elizabeth Crowden who sailed from Liverpool in 1842 and also settled in NY. Before her death in 1898 Elizabeth lived with Francis and Frank in Buffalo, NY. Any help would be appreciated.
