I am looking for relatives of my ggrandparents. Fred(rick?) Scott m. Betty (?) Coyle around 1919, Glasgow, Scotland. They had 2 daughters, Janet (b. 1920) and Esther (b.1921) and divorced in 1921 or 1922. Both daughters moved to U.S. after WWII. Fred Scott had siblings - Walter (m. Helen and had daughters Rosemary and Rowena in U.S.), Peggy (m. Duncan or John MacRae and had daughters Christine and Anne, had house on Milport, Isle of Cumbrae), Jean (never married (?), owned flat on Milport, Isle of Cumbrae), and Bertie who married Lizzie and had children or grandchildren named Stewart and Angela (who would both be around 50 now). I don't have any info on Betty Coyle, as Fred was given custody of the daughter's and they would never speak of her. Other clues I have - Fred lost a leg in WWI, and I know that he was an Episcopalian (not Presbyterian). Does this sound familiar to anyone? I know family is out there. Please help! Janet Scott was my grandmother, she died in 1989 and I'm sorry I never had the chance to ask her about our relatives. All the things I do know, I've heard from my mother and aunt.
