ELAINE OCONNELL [married Odonnell] worked at City Chambers in Edinburgh in JULY / AUGUST of 1991 when I met her in the park while lunching mid-day. We spent 9 wonderful days together [which seemed like years] having early suppers, long walks, magnificent conversations, drinks at the Acanthus [Becks Beer!] and yes, a good bit of romance as well. After our short but priceless time together I reluctantly returned to America to complete my course at University, and we unfortunately lost touch in the interveining months and years. Elaine is now about 35-36 years of age, 5'7" tall and at the time had very long brown hair. Her christening name is Bernadette and her birthday falls, if i am not mistaken, on the 17th of September. As I recall she was originally from Ireland, possibly Dublin. She used to take the bus in Princes Street to her flat in Musselburgh. Her place of employment when i knew her in AUGUST of 1991 was at Edinburgh City Chambers. Her Place of employment before that position was at the Financial Times. When we said good bye she very much wanted to attend film school in Brighton. She also had some connection with the Festival Fringe people in Edinburgh. MY NAME IS ANDREW, and I live on a ranch in Texas. I am still a poet, and very much the same as she would remember me, except significantly WISER, WEALTHIER, and more a MASTER OF MY OWN DESTINY. I would be grateful to anyone who might place me in touch with her AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. She is one of my most persistent and important unanswered questions, and i am eager to catch up to her, wherever she may be. TIME IS VERY MUCH OF THE ESSENCE. Kindly direct all correspondence to findingelaine@yahoo.com OR findingelaine@hotmail.com. Feel free to forward or re-post this message IN ITS ENTIRETY to whomever you think might need to read it. BLESSINGS, Andrew S.
