My wife and her sister are looking for their sister Iola anne
Smith nee Murray. She was born on 06/02/1944. She worked as a
shorthand typist in Grants store in Glasgow then in 1964 she
enlisted in the Womens Army at Kensington Barracks in London.
She met a David Smith who was with the Military Police at
the time with the rank of corporal. They married in 1965 and
now have two sons,Christopher 34yrs and Richard 26yrs.
Ann and David last served at Redfern Barracks,Edinburgh before
being posted to Germany. We believe they may have returned to
the U.K. after they retired from the forces.
Anne's mothers name is Margaret Mair Murray nee Macdonald.
